All retailers must hold an on-premises Alcohol License from ABCA, a Games of Skill License ($300/year), and a Games of Skill Endorsement ($500/year).
Each licensed establishment may operate up to 5 registered skill game machines on their premises.
The District levies a 10% tax on gross machine revenue with monthly filing due by the 20th. Reported through OLG's centralized accounting system.
All players must be at least 18. Staff must check government-issued ID at entry to the gaming area and again when cashing out winnings.
Each machine must be registered with OLG ($100 one-time fee) and display a valid registration sticker at all times.
Only machines from DC-licensed manufacturers may be deployed in the District. We work with Banilla Games and JVL Entertainment.
